Just a few more games including the conference championships for leading Heisman Trophy contenders to make an impact on the Heisman race. The chase is still competitive with four top players favored to win, according to current Heisman odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud (+125) jumped over Alabama QB Bryce Young (+250) this week after Stroud went off for 361 passing yards and 5 TDs in last week's pounding of Purdue, 59-31. That gives Stroud 30 TD passes along with 3,036 passing yards and just 5 INT's this season.

But Young kept pace with 5 TD passes in Alabama's 59-3 route of New Mexico State. That improves Young's stats and production to 3,025 yards with 33 TD passes to just 3 INT's this season.

Michigan State RB Kenneth Walker III (+450) and Ole Miss QB Matt Corral (+750) remain the leading Heisman challengers from last week's odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Heisman Trophy voting deadline is Dec. 6 with finalists announced the same day. A total of 870 media members, 56 living Heisman winners and one vote from the fans will decide the winner at the Heisman Ceremony on ESPN, Dec. 11, 2021.
