The Green Bay Packers have been in the headlines throughout the current NFL offseason, whether it's been trade rumors or the massive contract extension that Aaron Rodgers signed. Regardless, that business has been handled and the Packers hope to be one of the league's top teams next season.

That shouldn't be too hard for the Packers since they have the ninth-easiest 2022 NFL season schedule, according to ESPN's Mike Clay. Even if that's the case, some of their upcoming opponents should still give them a run for their money.

Here's a look at the three hardest games on the Packers' schedule in 2022.

Green Bay Packers Schedule 2022

1. vs. Los Angeles Rams

The Packers are hungry for a Super Bowl and they get a chance to prove themselves by facing the defending champions at Lambeau Field. It should be an offense-filled affair as the Los Angeles Rams and Packers combined for 52.6 points per game in 2021. Matthew Stafford will also have something to prove after going 0-4 in his last four appearances against Green Bay. With how star-studded the Rams are, this game should be a good test to see if the Packers are contenders or pretenders.

2. @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are another one of the more difficult opponents on the Packers' schedule. They've been one of the best offensive teams since Tom Brady joined them and it'll be interesting to see if Green Bay can still keep up after losing Davante Adams. The game also could be the final matchup between two iconic quarterbacks and Rodgers will be hungry for the win after losing three of four previous matchups to Brady. This is definitely a must-watch game.

3. @ Buffalo Bills

The Packers will face the AFC East this season, guaranteeing a matchup against the always tough Buffalo Bills. Josh Allen and co. have an electric offense going on, proven by them finishing last season with 29.8 PPG (No. 3). Meanwhile, the Packers finished tied for 10th (25.6 PPG) and could struggle to produce similar results due to the loss of Adams. And although he's 2-1 against the Bills in his career, Rodgers' 52.3% completion and 71.1 passer ratings show that Buffalo usually gives him a tough time. Additionally, it's never easy to play in front of the Bills Mafia.
