The Green Bay Packers are back in action after earning a bye during Wild Card Weekend. Green Bay is set to host the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round with a spot in the NFC Championship Game on the line.

Green Bay Weather Saturday

This late-January game in Wisconsin could be impacted by the current weather forecast.

49ers vs Packers Weather

The Weather Channel is projecting a high of 21 degrees for Saturday with winds up to 16 mph and a 24% chance of precipitation. That's already below freezing, and it doesn't account for the temperature at kickoff, which will be at 7:15 p.m. local time.

Local CBS meteorologist Ryan Morse has forecasted temperatures to be near 15 degrees at kickoff, and the wind chill could drop that down to as low as -5 degrees. Temps could fall to -10 with the wind chill by the fourth quarter.

There's no denying bone-chilling weather may impact the play on the field. Hits will feel harder, and players won't be able to move as swiftly if they don't stay warm and keep their bodies loose.

The Packers certainly have the advantage as natives of this weather, but it remains to be seen how the California-based 49ers will fare.

Green Bay enters this clash as 5.5-point favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
