Heliot Ramos Call Up
This is exciting news for Giants fans. Ramos is ranked as the No. 6 prospect in the organization, and he was in contention to make the Opening Day roster. Now he'll get to make his major league debut in just the third game of the 2022 season.
The 22-year-old Ramos has shown plenty of promise since being drafted No. 17 overall in the 2017 MLB Draft. He slashed .254/.323/.417 in Double-A and Triple-A last season at just 21 years old while recording 14 home runs and 15 steals in 116 games.
Ramos crushed a home run in his first at-bat in the minors this season, and fans will hope he can replicate that on Sunday.
