Gardner Minshew Reveals Funny Explanation For Eagles Trade

There's a lot to love about Gardner Minshew, the new backup quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles. Between the epic mustache to the ole mullet he rocked with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Minshew's got a big personality that should fit right in with the Eagles.
Minshew's personality was on full display on Wednesday when reporters asked about his recent trade. The trade was quite shocking and could be another sign that Philadelphia isn't all-in on Jalen Hurts as their No. 1 quarterback.
When asked why he thinks the Eagles traded for him, Minshew offered a hilarious anecdote about his previous encounter with head coach Nick Sirianni, an encounter that Minshew believes left quite the impression.

The 25-year-old gunslinger discussed an NFL Draft visit he made to the Indianapolis Colts. At the time, Sirianni worked as the team's offensive coordinator and the draft visit quickly turned into a game of H-O-R-S-E. According to Minshew, not only did his shirt come off, but the game turned quite competitive with Sirianni ultimately walking away with the dub.
Minshew declares he's "back for revenge" and remains confident this game of H-O-R-S-E is the main reason why the Eagles decided to trade for him.
Keep being you, Gardner Minshew. It's brilliant.
