First Turnover of Super Bowl 54 Comes With Jimmy Garoppolo Interception

The Kansas City Chiefs were the first team in Super Bowl 54 to generate a turnover, with Bashaud Breeland intercepting a Jimmy Garoppolo pass early in the second quarter.

FanDuel Sportsbook had the odds for the first turnover with interception as a -170 favorite and fumble as a +170 underdog, with "no turnover" getting long-shot +750 odds. The favorite cashed with Breeland's big play.

Winning the turnover battle is always a key to winning any game, and after the turnover the Chiefs are -280 favorites on the moneyline at FanDuel Sportsbook.

There was some impact on the Super Bowl MVP betting lines too, as Garoppolo is now just +600 to take home the award.
