After a thrilling U.S. Open that saw Jon Rahm capture his first-career major title, the PGA Tour heads to Connecticut for the Travelers Championship. With a handful of elite players in the field, we should be in for some exciting golf.

With that in mind, let's take a look at three players to target for your fantasy team this week.

Travelers Championship Fantasy

Dustin Johnson:
Dustin Johnson is the defending champ here, and with a field that's missing a lot of top talent given its being played right after the U.S. Open, he could come out on top again. He finished a respectable T-19 at the U.S. Open on Sunday and grabbed a T-10 in the Palmetto Championship the week prior. Dustin's work off the tee, where he ranks No. 7 in average driving distance and No. 19 in Strokes Gained (SG): Off-The-Tee, could prove crucial on this short course.

Patrick Cantlay:
Patrick Cantlay had some impressive streaks at the U.S. Open, and ended up finishing T-15. He's also grabbed three top-15 finishes in his last five starts, including a win at the Memorial Tournament in the first week of June. When it comes to TPC River Highlands, Cantlay has been knocking on the door the past few years, grabbing three consecutive top-15 finishes from 2018-2020. He might not have the driving distance that Johnson does, but Cantlay still ranks No. 14 in SG: Off-The-Tee, No. 8 in SG: Around-The-Green, No. 4 in SG: Tee-To-Green and No. 6 in SG: Total.

Abraham Ancer:
Abraham Ancer has quietly put together a really solid run of golf lately. In fact, he has five top-20 finishes in his last six starts, including four top-15 finishes and two top-five finishes in that span. In terms of his history at the Travelers Championship, Ancer has finished No. 8 and No. 11 the last two years here. He might not be long off the tee, but with such a short course, length won't be super paramount, especially when he has the No. 6 most accurate driver on tour so far this season, which has translated to a No. 29 ranking in SG: Off-The-Tee. Pair that with additional Top-30 rankings in SG: Approach The Green, SG: Tee-To-Green and SG: Total, and Ancer could be someone to watch outside the top tier.
