Pitts struggled to find his way in the Falcons offense. Not necessarily a fault of his own, though. Atlanta's offense consistently failed to find targets for the 2021 4th overall pick. Pitts put together a fantastic rookie season last year and was expected to take a significant leap in year two, especially since he was considered the best and most talented pass-catcher on the offense.
Now, Pitts will have to focus on preparing for next year and finding a way that both he and the team can get the uber-talented tight end more involved.
Atlanta sits 5-7 and still very much in the race to win the NFC South, which has been arguably the worst division in the NFL this season.
