The Atlanta Falcons have largely utilized a running back by committee this season. Whether because of injury, play style or poor performance, multiple backs have gotten their shot running the ball in Atlanta this season.
Caleb Huntley Injury Update
Caleb Huntley is one of those guys, but unfortunately it was announced on Monday tat he will miss the remainder of the season because of an Achilles injury he sustained in Sunday's Week 15 game against the Saints.
Huntley appeared in 12 games for the Falcons this season, all with varying levels of snap count and effectiveness. He topped out at 36 percent snap share in Week 8, which was also his best game of the season from a yardage standpoint, rushing for 91 yards on 16 attempts.
Cordarrelle Patterson still is the lead back and any carries that Huntely got will probably go to him, but we should still see Tyler Allgeir and Avery Williams mixed in a bit at points as well over the last three games.
The Falcons go up against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16.
