There are several quality goalkeepers in the English Premier League (EPL), but there's a Brazilian duo that stands well above the rest. According to the oddsmakers, at least.

With -125 odds, Liverpool's Alisson Becker is the opening favorite to take home the 2019-20 Premier League Golden Glove, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, which is awarded to the keeper that keeps the most clean sheets over the course of a Premier League season.

Ederson, the keeper for 2019-20 Premier League favorites in Manchester City, sits a very close second to his fellow countryman, sporting -105 odds to take home the award.

The reigning Golden Glove winner, Alisson recorded an impressive 21 clean sheets in 38 Premier League appearances last year. Ederson, meanwhile, gave Alisson a good run for his money last season, finishing with 20 clean sheets in the same number of appearances as the former.

Both keepers will once again be supported by two of the EPL's top defenses from last season (Liverpool: 22 goals allowed, Manchester City: 23 goals allowed), and if either of these players are to take home the Golden Glove award this season, the winner could be decided when the two face one another.

There's a massive drop in odds after the Brazilian duo. However, 3Tottenham's Kepa Arrizabalaga and Everton's Hugo Lloris, who both have +3100 odds, could be underdogs worth keeping an eye on, as each keeper notched the third and fourth-most clean sheets in the EPL last season (Arrizabalaga with 14, Lloris with 12).

The Premier League season is a long and grueling one, so these odds are likely to change, especially if either Ederson or Alisson fall out of form.
