Eagles Fans Aren't Going to Like Peter King's 2020 NFL Power Rankings

The NFC East is often one of the most competitive divisions in football, and while it's largely a two-team race these days, that competition is still fierce. The Philadelphia Eagles won the division at 9-7 in 2019, holding the Dallas Cowboys out of the playoffs.
Peter King's power rankings for the 2020 NFL season are calling for a shift in power, though. King has the Eagles ranked just 15th in the NFL, while Dallas sits well ahead of them in ninth.
Some power-ranking surprises (Bucs 5th? Raiders 8th?!) take a back seat in my latest column.

This lines up with what the betting markets are saying about the division as well. On FanDuel Sportsbook, the Cowboys are -105 favorites to win the division, while the Eagles sit at +140 underdogs.
Where the odds and King's rankings differ is in how much credit they're giving these NFC East teams overall. While King has them 15th (Philly) and ninth (Dallas), FanDuel Sportsbook gives the Eagles the seventh-best odds to win the Super Bowl (+1900) while Dallas is in sixth (+1700).

Even with the Eagles making some huge free agent additions, it's going to be a tall task to repeat as division champs. This will be one of the most interesting situations to monitor throughout the entire 2020 NFL season.
