Armed with 14 picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins have more draft capital than any other franchise in the league. While the three first-round picks (including No. 5 overall) have grabbed most of the headlines, Miami will need to nail its mid-round picks in order to really fill out this roster.

With that in mind, let's take a look at some potential steals Miami could be targeting in the NFL Draft.

1. Antoine Winfield Jr.

With Xavien Howard and Byron Jones on the roster, the Dolphins boast one of the best cornerback duos in the league. They could use an upgrade at safety, however. If Antoine Winfield Jr. is on the board at the top of the second round, he'd be an excellent fit. Coming off a season with 83 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 3 sacks and 7 interceptions, he's exactly the kind of dynamic playmaker Brian Flores' defense needs.

2. Denzel Mims

Denzel Mims absolutely tore it up at the 2020 NFL Combine, posting a 4.38 40-yard dash, and the fastest performance in the 3-cone drill (6.66). If he's on the board at the top of the second or the end of the first, he could be a great high-upside option for Miami. Coming off a 1,020-yard, 12-tochdown campaign, Mims could be a force alongside DeVante Parker.

3. J.K. Dobbins

Running back isn't nearly as important as it once was, but no team needs an upgrade more than Miami. Last season, Ryan Fitzpatrick led the team with a paltry 243 rushing yards. Bringing in Jordan Howard helps, but it won't solve the issue alone. If J.K. Dobbins, who racked up 2,003 rushing yards at Ohio State in 2019, is there at the end of the second round, he'd be a great addition to the offense.
