This season was a bittersweet one for Miami Dolphins fans. They got to see their team blow away all expectations in their first year of a rebuild, but they also fell just shy of the postseason after winning 10 games in the regular season.
Dolphins Super Bowl Odds
These odds are a serious reflection of the Dolphins' combination of youth and talent. A team that looked completely resigned to a long rebuild while they sold off most of their productive veterans in 2019 was not expected to turn things around in one offseason, but they did just that.
Tua Tagovailoa showed some growing pains, but the fact that the team as a whole rallied to a 10-win season despite uncertainty at the quarterback position is a real testament to how deep and well-coached this team is.
With two first-round picks (including No. 3 overall), the Dolphins roster is only going to get more talented this offseason, and a full offseason in Miami should also allow Tua to continue developing.
On the other side of the ball, the D already checked in at No. 11 in Football Outsiders' defensive DVOA metric (including a stellar No. 6 against the pass).
The sky is the limit for this young Dolphins team, and fans have to feel pretty good about being considered an above-average Super Bowl contender so quickly into this rebuild.
