After six straight wins and eight in their last 10 games, the Los Angeles Dodgers are again the favorites to win the 2019 World Series. After getting leapfrogged by the Houston Astros last week, the Dodgers now have +270 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, to take home the title this season.

The Astros and New York Yankees have the next best odds, tied at +400, followed by the AL Central leading Minnesota Twins (+800). Rounding out the top six in odds to win the World Series are the other two division leaders – the Atlanta Braves (+1000) and the Chicago Cubs (+1600).

The defending World Series champion Boston Red Sox are now just one game out of the second AL Wild Card spot and have +2000 odds to repeat. Their odds are tied with the AL Wild Card leaders, the Tampa Bay Rays, who have stumbled of late, winning just four of their last 10 games.

The Cleveland Indians, who currently own the second Wild Card spot in the AL, are at +3700 and the current NL Wild Card leaders, the Milwaukee Brewers, come in at +2400. The Philadelphia Phillies, despite being behind both the the St. Louis Cardinals (+3800) and Colorado Rockies (+4100) for the second NL Wild Card spot, have better odds than both of those teams, at +2200.

Since the odds to win the World Series don't match the teams' current records, it's clear that we're in for a few months of movement in both the odds and standings leading up to the 2019 MLB postseason.
