Devin Bush Made It Clear He Wanted to Be a Steeler at the NFL Combine

Devin Bush enjoyed a successful rookie season for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019, with 109 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, 1 touchdown and 1 sack. While it seems that Bush ended up in the perfect NFL situation, that may have been his plan all along, or at least his hope.
Back when Bush was going through his interviews at the NFL Combine, as he prepared to depart from his meeting with the Steelers, Bush reportedly looked at head coach Mike Tomlin and told him "hey coach Tomlin, come get me."
Fun little nugget shared by Steelers Pro Scouting Coordinator Brandon Hunt.

At the end of Devin Bush’s Combine interview, Bush looked at Mike Tomlin and told said: “Hey Coach Tomlin, come get me.”
Well, they went up and got him.
Fast forward to draft night and the Steelers did just that. Pittsburgh traded up from No. 20 to No. 10 in the 2019 NFL Draft to select Bush.
Who knows if this had any lasting effect on Tomlin and the Steelers' decision making, or if they had already made up their mind on Bush, but regardless, it seems both parties are quite thrilled with how things turned out.
