Through just 20 career games at the NFL level, Bradley Chubb has proven to be one of the most promising young pass-rushers in the league. As a rookie in 2018, Chubb put together a 12-sack campaign, but he suffered an ACL injury the following season, playing in just four games.

However, he could be in for a huge season in 2020, according to former Broncos' pass-rushing great, DeMarcus Ware.

Ware complimented Chubb's work ethic, mentality and natural athletic ability. Coming from a talent like Ware, who has racked up the ninth-most sacks in NFL history (138.5), comments like that should mean a lot.

In fact, Ware even compared Chubb's situation to Von Miller, who bounced back from a torn ACL in the 2013 season with 14 sacks in 2014. Impressively, Miller has missed just one game over the following six seasons since that injury. If Chubb's recovery goes anything like Miller's did, Broncos fans would surely be ecstatic.

Bradley Chubb Odds to Win Defensive Player of the Year 2020

Even though Chubb's 2019 season doesn't have him sitting among the front-runners in the race to win the AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year by the odds, he is currently looking at +4200 odds to win the award this season, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Bradley Chubb Odds to Win Comeback Player of the Year 2020

Chubb's 2019 season injury also makes an eligible candidate to win the 2020 AP Comeback Player of the Year Award this year at +6000 odds.

It should come as no surprise that Chubb, the No. 5 overall pick in the 2018 draft, is getting praise from a team legend like Ware. But if Ware's prediction comes to fruition, Chubb could be a dominant force once again in 2020.
