Starting at 5:00 p.m. ET, we have 10 races Saturday at Del Mar "Where the Turf meets the Surf."

As always, check the program for scratches and changes, and monitor the weather and track conditions.

(I will reference Equibase's Speed Figure in selected races, which tells you how fast a horse has been running in each of its races -- adjusted for track, distances, and conditions).

Del Mar Betting

According to numberFire horse racing projections, these are the best bets to make at FanDuel Racing today.

1. Going Global and Park Avenue, Race 6

FanDuel Racing Odds: 6/5 and 4/1

Race 7 is the $250,000 Yellow Ribbon Handicap for fillies and mares going 1 1/16 miles on the turf. Going Global (6/5) will be tough to beat as the top class horse and worthy favorite. She's the top pick of numberFire with top turf jockey Umberto Rispoli riding.

Going Global won a pair of graded stakes over this course last year, but now carries high weight and spots at least five pounds to her six rivals.

Avenue De France (4/1) wheels back in three weeks following a solid restricted stakes win over this course. She finished behind Park Avenue (4/1) two races back in Texas. Park Avenue now runs without Lasix, but she's the controlling speed and 2-for-2 on the turf.

2. Dandy Warhol and Anmer Hall, Race 8

FanDuel Racing Odds: 7/2 and 5/2

Race 8 is an Allowance race for 3-year-olds at 1-mile on the turf. The numberFire projections like Anmer Hall (5/2) to win and Handy Dandy (7/2) to challenge with the meets top jockey Juan Hernandez riding. Dandy Warhol (7/2) has top turf jockey Umberto Rispoli aboard.

Anmer Hall finished second at long odds in the Del Mar opening Day Oceanside Stakes pressing the pace. Dandy Warhol had a bad trip in that same race breaking last of 13 runners in his U.S. debut. He was checked during the run and re-rallied a bit to finish sixth. Show Time (8/1) is one to include in trifecta wagering offering value.

3. Procrastination and Absolutely Zero, Race 9

FanDuel Racing Odds: 8/5 and 9/5

Race 9 is the $200,000 Sorrento Stakes (G2) for 2-year-old fillies sprinting 6 furlongs. The two favorites and top picks of numberFire will be a popular exacta, but still offer little return.

Procrastination (8/5) was a runaway winner on the lead in her debut. Absolutely Zero (9/5) breaks from the outside #8 post. She's 2-for-2 after beating the boys in a gutty dueling effort. She's versatile and will sit just behind the leaders and the favorite looking to pounce.
