San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Deebo Samuel has impressed over the past month, and following a positive injury update, all signs point to him playing on "Sunday night Football" against the Green Bay Packers.

With WR Emmanuel Sanders in and out of the lineup the past two games, along with tight end George Kittle being sidelined, the rookie Samuel has posted back-to-back eight-catch, 100-plus-yard games.

Over those two weeks, Samuel has ranked as WR6 in PPR scoring, averaging 20.3 fantasy points per game. While he isn't likely to see the 10.5 targets per game he has seen over the past couple weeks if both Sanders and Kittle return to the lineup, Samuel has done more than enough to carve out a role in the 49ers' offense moving forward.

If Sanders is active, that gives Samuel a boost as he would then match up with Packers cornerback Kevin King, who has surrendered the most yards by a corner this season, at 649, to go along with 17.1 yards per reception.

Samuel is on the WR2/3 radar either way as he comes in at WR24 in our Week 12 fantasy football PPR rankings.
