Dark Horse Picks to Win The Memorial Tournament at FanDuel Sportsbook

PGA Tour pros are preparing for one of the more well-known events on the golf calendar this week. Thursday will mark the start of The Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, OH.

Beyond the favorites are a number of dark horses who offer more value as capable contenders.

With longshots in mind, here are three dark horses that could make a run at The Memorial Tournament leaderboard and come away with the trophy on Sunday.

1. Max Homa (+3400)

Max Homa has made 10 consecutive cuts and put together a really solid season so far that already includes three top-10 finishes and two wins, one of which came just three starts ago at the Wells Fargo Championship. He's no stranger to success at Muirfield Village either with aT-6 finish at this event in 2021. He's gained strokes in four of the five main categories, ranking in the top-30 on Tour in all four and No. 13 in Strokes Gained (SG): Total.

2. Patrick Reed (+4800)

Patrick Reed, like the other guys on this list, seems to have his game trending in the right direction and has some past success at Muirfield Village. Reed grabbed a T-7 last week at the Charles Schwab Challenge. He also finished 10th here two years ago and 5th in this event last year. He's got three top-10 finishes here in his professional career.

3. Jason Day (+5500)

Jason Day has now put together a string of four consecutive cuts, which includes a T-15 and T-10. He's also got some real past success at Muirfield Village. He had two top-10 finishes on this course in 2020 alone and has made the cut nine times in his 13 starts here. Another strong showing from Day here shouldn't surprise anyone.
