Throughout the offseason, the Seattle Seahawks have been marred by rumors surrounding quarterback Russell Wilson's future with the organization. Those rumors seem to have quieted down and the Seahawks are now focused on a fourth straight trip to the NFL playoffs in 2021.

One of the biggest factors in Seattle's success starts with blossoming young receiver D.K. Metcalf. Metcalf, who led the team in receiving yards last season (1,303), is a rather unique individual. He consistently changes his hair color, sports earrings on the field and even competed in the Olympic Trials this summer.

Metcalf recently discussed his relationship with head coach Pete Carroll, alluding to this as part of the reason he wants to stay in Seattle long-term.

"His energy, first off, and then he lets me be myself," Metcalf said. "I can come in with different color hair every week and he's not going to call me out or say anything or, hey, what's wrong? Is everything going good at home? He's just going to let me be myself.

Seahawks fans would be thrilled to keep Metcalf on the team long-term. The third-year NFL veteran was a pass-catching machine last season, racking up 83 receptions and 10 touchdowns for 1,300+ receiving yards.
