Commanders Eyeing Impressive Candidates for Offensive Coordinator Opening

The Washington Commanders are set to go through rebuild that starts with trying to find a franchise quarterback. For now, the team is saying that will be Sam Howell, but free agency and the NFL Draft are still looming this offseason.
Regardless of who their quarterback is, the team needs someone to run the offense, and Washington is reportedly set to interview former Baltimore Ravens OC Greg Roman for the same position.
The #Commanders are set to interview former #Ravens OC Greg Roman this week, as @john_keim said. They’re working on scheduling Eric Bieniemy as well, though the #Chiefs’ Super Bowl celebrations have the date TBD as of now.

Roman isn't the only one vying for the job though. Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is also reportedly going to interview for the position as well.
Roman has spent the last four seasons as the Ravens OC before Baltimore elected to move on this offseason. Clearly Roman still has a ton of respect throughout the league if he's being pursued this quickly after being fired.
