The 2021 Cheez-It Bowl is one of the many NCAA college football bowl games that will take place over the next month or so. This year's contest will be played between the No. 19 Clemson Tigers and Iowa State Cyclones.

FanDuel Sportsbook is projecting this game to be a close one, listing Iowa State as the slight moneyline favorite at -122 odds. Meanwhile, Clemson has opened as a +100 underdog. The point spread is 1.5 points, in favor of Iowa State.

Opening Cheez-It Bowl Odds

Iowa State is a relative newcomer to the Cheez-It Bowl, having made only one other appearance. That came in 2019, where the Cyclones were blown out, 33-9, by the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Meanwhile, Clemson's 2021 appearance will be the school's fourth. The Tigers are 2-1 in three previous showings, with their last being a 40-6 victory over the Oklahoma Sooners in 2014.

The Cheez-It Bowl clash will also mark the first-ever head-to-head matchup between Iowa State and Clemson. Both schools failed to play in their respective conference's championship games this season, so they'll be looking to end the campaign on a high note.

The 2021 Cheez-It Bowl will take place at 5:45 p.m. EST on Wednesday, Dec. 29, live from Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL.
