Christian McCaffrey Injury Update Sends Mike Davis Fantasy Outlook Skyrocketing in Week 10

Here we go again. If you spent the first overall pick in a fantasy draft on Christian McCaffrey, this season has brought little more than frustration. If you grabbed Mike Davis off the waiver wire, you've probably been having a much better time in 2020.
Things finally looked to be turning around when McCaffrey returned in Week 9, but now things have flipped again.
Panthers’ RB Christian McCaffrey is not expected to play Sunday against Tampa Bay due to a right shoulder, per sources. McCaffrey now will be considered week to week.

Christian McCaffrey Injury
McCaffrey handled his usual workload in Week 9, racking up a whopping 28 touches. That was apparently an unwise choice from Matt Rhule and the coaching staff.
McCaffrey suffered a new injury, this time to his shoulder, and it's going to cost him at least one more game. Considering this is likely a lost season, there's no need to rush him back again, and we can expect him to remain out until he's confirmed 100 percent healthy.
Mike Davis Fantasy Value
This situation means that Mike Davis is once again a weekly must-start in fantasy football. With CMC on the shelf from Weeks 3 through 8, Davis averaged 86.5 yards from scrimmage on 19.6 opportunities (13.8 carries plus 5.8 targets) per game, finding the end zone 4 times.
His 17.3 PPR fantasy points per game in that stretch would rank No. 8 among all running backs on the season. He's a top option every week and should be in your starting lineup for as long as he's the No. 1 back in Carolina.
