There's bad news and then there's terrible news.

Unfortunately for the Seahawks, today's injury report is more of the latter, as they will be without their top two running backs for Sunday's divisional matchup with the Los Angeles Rams.

Seattle's starting RB1, Chris Carson, hasn't been on the field since suffering a foot injury against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7. Carlos Hyde came in behind him only to suffer a hamstring injury that has kept him off the field for the same duration.

Both running backs have now officially been ruled out, giving way for Travis Homer and rookie DeeJay Dallas to continue handling the bulk of the RB duties this Sunday against the Rams.

The losses for this Week 10 game don't end there on the offensive side of the ball either, as defensive end Benson Mayowa has also been ruled out. Defense is an arguably even tougher side of the ball to have those losses for Seattle as well, considering the Seahawks currently rank No. 30 in scoring defense, having allowed 30.4 points per game (PPG) on the season.

The short-handed Seahawks are 2.5-point underdogs in this game, according to Week 10 odds from FanDuel Sportsbook.
