The Kansas City Chiefs won't settle for anything less than a championship with their current core. That makes the last two seasons hard to swallow after a loss in the Super Bowl and a defeat in this year's AFC Championship Game.

This team will be on a revenge tour in 2022, and some ESPN experts foresee plenty of success for them this season.

A panel of ESPN writers weighed in with their way-too-early predictions for the upcoming campaign, picking winners for both the Super Bowl and MVP.

Four out out of the 12 experts picked Kansas City to hoist the Lombardi Trophy next season. Two writers had the Chiefs beating the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl LVII, and the other two predicted KC taking down the Los Angeles Rams.

For MVP, though Josh Allen was the dominant favorite, Mahomes had three experts in his corner. They believe the end to this past season will leave him with a sour taste in his mouth and he'll come out with something to prove in 2022.

It's exciting to see Kansas City get so much early love with the season months away. They also check in with the second-best odds (+750) to win the Super Bowl next year on FanDuel Sportsbook.
