Celtics vs Heat Game 7 Info

2021-22 NBA Playoffs — Eastern Conference Finals Game 7 (Series Tied 3-3)
Boston Celtics (51-31, 23-18 Away) vs. Miami Heat (53-29, 29-12 Home)
Date: Sunday, May 29, 2022
Time: 8:30 p.m. ET
Venue: FTX Arena — Miami, FL
Coverage: ESPN

The Miami Heat looked totally defeated in Games 4 and 5, but they somehow managed to pull things back together and walk out of Game 6 with the 111-103 victory. Momentum is now on their side as they head into Game 7, looking to achieve their second NBA Finals appearance in the last three seasons.

Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics are trying to regroup as they're set to return to the hostile FTX Arena. They've already won there twice this series, but the Celtics are going to need a more complete effort than they showed on Friday if they want to get the job done.

Celtics vs Heat Odds & Spread

All NBA betting lines, odds and prop bets are available on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Moneyline: BOS: (-136) | MIA: (+116)
Spread: BOS: -2.5 (-110) | MIA: +2.5 (-110)
Total: 195.5 — Over: (-110) | Under: (-110)
Odds to Win NBA Finals: BOS: (+300) | MIA: (+600)

The odds have seen a bit of a change compared to Game 6. The Celtics are only 2.5-point favorites in Game 7 compared to them being favored by 8.5 on Friday. The total has also dropped from 201.5 last game to 195.5, which is a bit perplexing since Boston and Miami combined for 114 in the last outing.

Celtics vs Heat Prediction & Pick

All NBA win probability predictions and picks are according to numberFire.
Prediction: Miami Heat win (56.1%)

Although the odds favor the Celtics, numberFire's projection likes the Heat to win their second of back-to-back games to advance to the 2021-22 NBA Finals. However, the Celtics have responded to a tough loss time and time again during their postseason run, and I think they'll pull off another win here.

Final Score Prediction: Celtics: 108 | Heat: 105

Celtics vs Heat Betting Trends

- Boston is 11-1 against the spread (ATS) in its last 12 road games.
- Miami is 1-4 ATS in its last five home games against Boston.
- The total has hit the over in 11 of Boston's last 16 games against Miami.
- The total has hit the over in four of Miami's last six games.

Aside from low-scoring totals Games 4 and 5, the Heat and Celtics have been pretty consistent when it comes to finishing with the over. Considering just how low Sunday's total sits, it wouldn't be a shock if the two teams hit the over once again. As for the spread, the Celtics have been pretty consistent when it comes to games played in Miami. The Celtics will need that trend to continue if they're to return to the Finals for the first time since 2010.

Celtics vs Heat Best Bet

All NBA betting lines, odds and prop bets are available on FanDuel Sportsbook.

As for the best prop bet, I'm taking Marcus Smart to finish with fewer than 13.5 points at -124 odds. Although Smart has finished with the over nine times in this postseason, a lingering ankle issue has caused him to shoot just .250 over the last two games. He's averaging only 11.9 points in his last 10 trips to Miami, finishing with the under seven times — including just five points in Game 5. Boston will rely on his defense, but look for Smart to finish with the under.

Bet Marcus Smart Points: Under 13.5 (-124)
