CBS Sports Predicting Big Changes For Lions in 2020
By Zach Brunner

The Detroit Lions have been in a state of rebuilding for nearly the entire tenure of Matthew Stafford at quarterback . While it does not take an expert to realize that the Lions have underachieved, given the amount of talent they have put on the field, an expert from CBS Sports is predicting some big changes for the Lions in 2020.
No, these big changes do not involve finding their winning ways under Matt Patricia. Instead, Jeff Kerr from CBS Sports is predicting that the Lions fire head coach Matt Patricia during the regular season.

Kerr makes note that the talent level of the Lions should make them a .500 team, but Patricia has given us little to have confidence in him. As two seasons being the head coach in Detroit, Patricia has achieved just a 9-22-1 record. If the Lions are sitting in last place during December, there is a good chance they make the move early.
The Washington Football Team made similar moves last season, firing Jay Gruden and beginning the search for a new head coach early. The decision to do that seems to have paid off, with the team landing Ron Rivera, who was widely accepted as the best available head coaching candidate this offseason.
