Carson Wentz seems to be consistently among the league's most underrated quarterbacks. He certainly struggled in his 2016 rookie campaign, and injuries have slowed him down, but he's put together a terrific three-year stretch.

In fact, since 2017 he's accomplished something that only five other QBs (all likely future Hall-of-Famers) have ever managed.

He doesn't just barely clear those 20-plus TD and 10-or-fewer INT marks most seasons either. His touchdown totals have been 33, 21 and 27, while he has thrown just 7 interceptions in each of the last three seasons.

If we look at all 27 QBs with at least 900 pass attempts since 2017, Wentz is tied for No. 7 with 81 touchdowns, while his 21 interceptions are the fifth fewest. His 3.9-to-1 TD-to-INT ratio in that time trails only Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers.

Wentz' yardage totals aren't as lofty as some other passers, but he's also still averaged at least 250.0 yards per game in each of the last three years. There's not much more you can ask for than big touchdown numbers, solid yardage numbers and low interception numbers — especially when his receiving corps was incredibly depleted in 2019.

With first-round pick Jalen Reagor added to the mix at WR, Eagles fans can expect another big year from their franchise QB in 2020.
