This season was a bittersweet one for Buffalo Bills fans. They got to see their team establish itself as a legitimate elite contender in the AFC, but now they also have to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play in Super Bowl LV after defeating the Bills in the AFC Championship.
Bills Super Bowl Odds
These odds are a serious reflection of the Bills' combination of youth and talent, as well as the fact that it doesn't look like they'll suffer too many significant losses based on their upcoming free agents.
Josh Allen just turned in a phenomenal season, and Pro Football Focus graded him out at No. 5 among all quarterbacks in the NFL. The 24-year-old has made improvements in each of his three NFL seasons, and there's little doubt that he'll be among the league's top five QBs (at least) next year.
With Allen and a core of skill-position players led by Stefon Diggs, who set multiple franchise receiving records in his first year as a Bill, this offense promises to be one of the NFL's best next season.
The defense will be the real question mark, having ranked in the middle of the pack in both yards and points allowed, but they did check in at No. 12 in Football Outsiders' defensive DVOA metric.
The sky is the limit for this young Bills team, and fans have to feel pretty good about being considered one of the early favorites for Super Bowl LVI.
