The Tampa Bay Buccaneers ended a storybook 2020 campaign by hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. Tom Brady, who now has more Super Bowl rings than any NFL franchise, earned his seventh Super Bowl victory by defeating the Kansas City Chiefs, 31-9.

And yet, this team still isn't getting the respect it deserves. Taking a look at FanDuel Sportsbook's Super Bowl LVI odds, the Buccaneers are significantly behind the team they just dominated in Super Bowl LV.

Kansas City boasts the best odds in the league at +500. Tampa Bay has the second-best odds, though the Bucs are all the way down at +950. For reference, the gap between the Chiefs and the Buccaneers is as large as the one between Tampa and the seventh-place Baltimore Ravens (+1400).

After what we saw last night, that feels ridiculous. Tampa Bay flat-out dominated Kansas City in every phase of the game, earning a wire-to-wire victory after erasing an early 3-point deficit.

Besides, in the lead up to Super Bowl LV, Tom Brady claimed this team was going to be even better next year. At this point, who are we to question him?
