Buccaneers Rookies Can't Contain Excitement Over Playing With Tom Brady

When thinking about the NFL over the last 20 or so years, it's tough not to associate the league with Tom Brady. With him now playing into his mid-40s, Brady continues to be surrounded by more and more players who grew up idolizing him.
That's why it isn't surprising at all that the Buccaneers' latest crop of rookies can't contain their excitement when it comes to playing with Brady. In fact, 2022 57th overall pick and former Central Michigan guard Luke Goedeke described the feeling as "a dream come true" to ESPN's Jenna Laine.

Running back and 91st overall pick Rachaad White echoed Goedeke's sentiments, talking about how excited he is for Brady to hand him the ball. White even pointed out how much cleaner the four-time MVP's locker is compared to everyone else's.
"I don’t touch nothing in nobody’s locker 'cause that’s just how it goes. But it’s just crazy to see like how organized and neat his locker is. Mine’s kind of dirty already."

The excitement for the rookies doesn't stop there. Defensive tackle Logan Hall (No. 33) hasn't gotten to meet Brady yet but has admitted that he'll "try not to stutter" whenever they do cross paths.
Tight end Cade Otton (No. 106) is also excited at the prospect of catching passes from Brady, but knows that he can't be in awe forever, saying "he’s gonna be one of my teammates, and we’ve gotta be able to work together."
It's pretty cool to see so many rookies raving about the opportunity to play with a certified NFL legend. The excitement factor will likely dissipate as the 2022 season progresses, but that won't stop them from soaking in the experience while it lasts.
Tampa Bay's rookies could have more to celebrate this season other than the fact of being Brady's teammate. The Buccaneers currently have the second-best Super Bowl LVII odds (+750), according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
