The Cleveland Browns received some discouraging news on Wednesday as a key member of their offensive line is dealing with an injury that will likely keep him out of their Week 7 tilt with the Baltimore Ravens.

Wyatt Teller Injury Update

Right guard Wyatt Teller was spotted wearing a walking boot on his left foot in the locker room. He later said that he's dealing with a strained left calf and is unlikely to play this week, which was confirmed by head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Teller suffered the injury during Week 6's loss to the New England Patriots, leaving the game after playing just 21% of the offensive snaps. Prior to that, he hadn't missed an offensive snap all season.

The 27-year-old Pro Bowler has helped anchor Cleveland's offensive line since being traded from the Buffalo Bills prior to the 2019 season. His presence has helped the Browns produce one of the best rushing attacks in the NFL this year, as the team currently ranks first in rushing yards and second in rushing touchdowns.

Teller's absence would create a significant hole in Cleveland's offensive line ahead of Week 7's AFC North clash with Baltimore. It will also make it more difficult for Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt to find room to run against a stingy Ravens run defense that's allowed the seventh-fewest rushing yards in the NFL.

Losing Teller would be another obstacle for the Browns to overcome on the road, as they're currently 6.5-point underdogs on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds for Sunday's showdown in Baltimore.
