Teams around the league could be shaken up this week with Tuesday's trade deadline. Denver Broncos brass will face some tough decisions as they weigh whether this team can turn it around and contend for the playoffs.

Star EDGE Bradley Chubb has been named as one player that could be moved if Denver opts to punt on the 2022 campaign. It's now been revealed what the team may be able to fetch for the pass-rusher.

Peter King of NBC Sports reports the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets have serious interest in acquiring Chubb. Both teams are considering meeting the Broncos' asking price of a first-round pick in exchange for former Pro Bowler.

"A well-plugged-in GM told me over the weekend the Jets and Dolphins are interested, and interested enough to consider dealing a first-rounder for Chubb. But to make that deal for a significant price, Miami or New York, or any team, would have to have a deal done with Chubb beyond this year.

Chubb being on an expiring contract slightly complicates matters. No one wants to pay premium draft capital for a rental, so interested teams want to make sure an extension can be worked out with the edge rusher before completing a trade.

A first-round pick would be a great haul for GM George Paton. Chubb's undoubtedly a top talent when on the field, but that's been a major obstacle over his career. The last time he played a full season was his rookie year in 2018, so there's legitimate concerns about paying him a lucrative extension.

To his credit, Chubb's bounced back in a big way this year. He's already racked up 5.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and eight QB hits over the first eight games. He'll certainly have suitors ahead of the deadline, but a potential move will all come down to the cost to acquire him.

It remains to be seen if Denver opts to move Chubb before the deadline, which is slated for Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET.
