Brian Flores Puts NFL on Notice Over Eric Bieniemy Getting a Head Coaching Job

Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy has made a seamless transition from former player to coach, and he's earning well-deserved consideration for a head-coaching gig. It was surprising when a team didn't scoop up the OC last offseason, but he should be in prime position for a promotion in 2021.
One major supporter of Bieniemy? Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores.

Flores doesn't just think Bieniemy is worth a shot at head coach, but he believes it'd be a catastrophe if the offensive coordinator doesn't get a job offer this offseason.
Bieniemy played nine seasons in the NFL as a running back before joining the coaching ranks. He has enjoyed incredible success with the Chiefs after becoming their OC in 2018, spearheading one of the league's top offenses and helping Kansas City maximize its talent around star Patrick Mahomes
The Chiefs' deadly offense, led by Bieniemy, helped earn them a Super Bowl win in 2019 and the team looks poised to contend again in 2020. Kansas City's offense currently ranks third in the league in yards and second in points, demonstrating their ability to overpower any team.
