The Milwaukee Brewers entered this season as dark horses in the odds to win the 2021 World Series. Now they have one of the best records in baseball and their odds are skyrocketing.

The Brewers were +4500 in World Series odds on FanDuel Sportsbook before the 2021 campaign kicked off, placing them tied for the 19th-best mark. Then those odds improved to +4000 last week (tied for 18th best).

This week they've made a huge jump to +2200 to win the World Series.

Brewers World Series Odds 2021

Milwaukee is up to the 11th-best odds in the majors to win the World Series, tying them with the Oakland Athletics. They have the best odds among all NL Central teams, vaulting past the Cincinnati Reds (+3500) and St. Louis Cardinals (+4000) this week, and fifth-best odds among all National League teams.

The Brewers' rise is impressive, especially given the current injuries sidelining Christian Yelich and Lorenzo Cain. Milwaukee started the season just 1-3 before going 12-5 over their last 17 contests to give them an NL Central-best 13-8 record as April comes to a close.

Milwaukee ranks in the middle of the pack for runs scored per game (4.33), but they tout the fifth-best team ERA average (3.19) in the league, which has helped this on this current run without two key bats in their lineup. Once healthy, the Brewers could be a nightmare for the rest of the league.
