One of the biggest stories of the Chicago Bears' offseason has been the quarterback competition between Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles.

Everyone seems to have their opinion on who the starter should be, and recently former NFC North rival Brett Favre even weighed in, revealing that he believes Foles should be the starter.

Favre cited Foles' Super Bowl win (and strong play during that postseason run) as the reason to give him the edge.

"If you just based it off how they've performed in real game situations, obviously, Nick Foles won a Super Bowl. And played lights out. Just based off of that, Nick Foles is the better player."

This is definitely a bit of an old-school approach, just looking at a couple big games rather than both players' full bodies of work, but it's hard to argue with Favre that Foles has shown more upside as a pro.

The competition appears to be a close one, and it looks like Bears fans might not get an answer as to who their starting QB will be until much closer to the start of the season.
