One of the year's biggest weekends in horse racing is upon us with the 2022 Breeders' Cup bringing 14 races across two days on November 4th and 5th.

The races kick off on Friday, but Saturday features a number of exciting races for fans and bettors. The Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf race goes down on Saturday at 1:50 p.m. ET with $2 million on the line at Keeneland.

The contenders were announced on Wednesday, so here's everything you need to know about the field before wagering on the Breeders' Cup Classic on FanDuel Racing.

Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf Contenders

1. Above the Curve

Jockey: TBD
Trainer: Joseph Patrick O'Brien
Breeder: Orpendale/Chelston/Wynatt
Owner: Mrs. John Magnier, Michael Tabor, Derrick Smith and Westerberg Limited (Michael Kuessner)

Above the Curve has three wins on the year, including a victory at the Moyglare Jewels Blandford S. in early September.

2. Dreamloper

Breeder: Mrs. Olivia Hoare
Owner: Mrs. Olivia Hoare

Dreamloper brings three 2022 victories into this race, including a Grade 1 win at the Prix Du Moulin De Longchamp in early September.

3. Family Way

Jockey: TBD
Trainer: Brendan P. Walsh
Breeder: Diamond Creek Farm
Owner: Hunter Valley Farm (FERGUS GALVIN) , Debra O'Connor & Marc Detampel

Family Way is on fire heading into this race and has yet to finish lower than 3rd place in seven races this season. That includes a pair of 2nd-place showings in Grade 1 events.

4. Going to Vegas

Breeder: J. Kirk Robison & Judy Robison
Owner: Abbondanza Racing LLC (Bing Bush), Medallion Racing (Phillip Shelton) & MyRaceHorse (Michael Behrens)

One of just two Challenge Series winners in this race, Going to Vegas has won eight times in 28 career starts. This includes its most recent race -- a Grade 1 affair called the Rodeo Drive Stakes.

5. In Italian

Breeder: Fairway Thoroughbreds
Owner: Peter M. Brant

Watch out for In Italian, who enters this race with back-to-back wins at the Diana S. and First Lady S. in July and October, respectively. The horse owns wins in 63% of her starts.

6. Lady Speightspeare

Jockey: TBD
Trainer: Roger L. Attfield
Breeder: Charles E. Fipke
Owner: Charles E. Fipke

Lady Speightspeare enters with a trio of consecutive victories, although those game in Grade 2 and Grade 3 events. The horse ran one Grade 1 event in 2022, placing third at the Jenny Wiley S.

7. Moira

Jockey: TBD
Trainer: Kevin Attard
Breeder: Adena Springs
Owner: X- Men Racing (Donato Lanni), Madaket Stables LLC (Sol Kumin) and SF Racing LLC (Gavin Murphy)

Moira wins in 67% of entered races, including three of four in 2022. The most recent win came at the Queen's Plate S. back in August.

8. Nashwa

Trainer: John H.M. Gosden
Breeder: Blue Diamond Stud Farm (uk) Ltd
Owner: Imad Alsagar

Nashwa is a horse with four wins in six starts during the 2022 season. The most recent finish was a 2nd-place showing at Prix De L'Opera Longines in October.

9. Rougir

Breeder: Jan Krauze
Owner: Peter M. Brant and Michael Tabor

One of the most seasoned racers in this field, Rougir owns 19 career starts. The horse has six wins to show for it, including two in the 2022 season. Rougir comes in fresh off a win at the E. P. Taylor S. in early October.

10. Saffron Beach

Breeder: China Horse Club International Ltd
Owner: Mrs. Ben Sangster, James Wigan and Ollie Sangster

Winning nearly half of her 13 lifetime entries, Saffron Beach collected two victories and a 2nd-place showing during the 2022 campaign.

11. Toy

Jockey: TBD
Trainer: Aidan P. O'Brien
Breeder: Coolmore
Owner: Derrick Smith, Mrs. John Magnier, Michael Tabor and Westerberg Limited (Michael Kuessner)

A busy racer in 2022, Toy will make the eighth start of her season on Saturday. Toy owns two victories, although neither came at a Grade 1 event.

12. Tuesday

Jockey: TBD
Trainer: Aidan P. O'Brien
Breeder: Coolmore
Owner: Mrs. John Magnier, Michael Tabor, Derrick Smith and Westerberg Limited (Michael Kuessner)

Another busy racer in 2022, Tuesday is set to make her ninth start in 2022. She touts at least a top-4 finish in all but one race this season, including a pair of victories earlier in the year.

13. Via Sistina

Breeder: Laundry Cottage Stud Farm
Owner: Mrs. R.G. Hillen

Making just her third start of the season, Via Sistina does not have a victory in 2022. She did place second at the Grade 3 Newmarket Pony Academy Pride S. event in October.

14. Virginia Joy

Jockey: TBD
Trainer: Chad Brown
Breeder: Gestut Auenquelle
Owner: Peter M. Brant

The second and final Challenge Series winner in this race. Virginia Joy won The Flower Bowl in early September along with a pair of wins at Gulfstream Park and Belmont Park to start the year.
