Atlanta Braves prospect and catcher Hendrik Clementina has been one of the hottest players in Double-A recently. In fact, his recent performances have been so impressive that he's earned Double-A Player of the Week honors for the Southern League.

Clementina was putting up video game-like batting numbers last week, finishing with a .625/.684/.1.063 slash line and 10 hits in 16 at-bats. He turned two of those hits into home runs and another in a double while also recording five RBIs.
Although those averages aren't sustainable long-term, it's worth pointing out that Clementina has been heating up for a while now. He's batting .325 with three HRs and 12 RBIs in May, making it interesting to see if he continues that level of play as the calendar flips over.
After spending all of 2021 in Double-A and taking his recent play into account, it wouldn't be shocking if the Braves promoted Clementina to Triple-A in the near future. He has potential, but it's almost time to see what he can do against tougher talent.
The Braves are set with Travis d'Arnaud as their catcher, so there really isn't any room to call the Willemstad, Curacao native up to the Majors. Keeping that in mind, Atlanta has been playing sub-.500 baseball all season and could give Clementina a look if things don't turn around, potentially as a designated hitter.
FanDuel Sportsbook currently has the Braves having the eighth-best World Series Odds (+1700), although, it's hard to imagine them staying that high if they don't consistently play like a contender.
