The Buffalo Bills are currently gearing up for what should be an exciting matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Miami's much-improved offense presents a major test for a beefed-up Bills defense that's looked as good as advertised to begin the 2022 season.

However, the hits keep coming for Buffalo, as yet another defender was ruled out ahead of this Week 3 clash.

Defensive tackle Ed Oliver is joining the lengthy list of Bills inactives against Miami. It was reported earlier on Friday that Micah Hyde, Dane Jackson and fellow DT Jordan Phillips will all miss Sunday's contest.

It's certainly not great news for the Bills that they'll be short-handed in the secondary and on the defensive line against a Dolphins offense that looks scary. Safety Jordan Poyer is also nursing a foot injury, while All-Pro cornerback Tre'Davious White is already on IR as he recovers from last season's ACL tear.

Now a less-than-100% Bills secondary will be tasked with slowing down Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. It could fall on Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs to make sure Buffalo keeps its undefeated record intact to begin the year.

Despite their injury woes, FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds peg the Bills as 5.5-point road favorites over the Dolphins. This game is tied for the highest points total on the remaining Week 3 slate 52.5.
