The Buffalo Bills kicked off their Week 8 of practices with an exciting update on injured cornerback Tre'Davious White, courtesy of defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier. Frazier suggested Sunday could be an opportunity for White to make his 2022 debut.

Unfortunately, that's not the case. Buffalo announced their final decision on White's Week 8 status on Wednesday afternoon.

White is not going to play against the Green Bay Packers, according to head coach Sean McDermott. Continuing to rehab back from a torn ACL, the All-Pro talent will be forced to remain on the sidelines for at least one more game.

He is officially designated for return from the Injured Reserve, so it's only a matter of time before Bills nation will see the leader of the secondary back in action. And even though Buffalo touts the best defensive unit in football, leading the league in points and yards allowed by impressive margins, White's presence is still missed.

Buffalo looks to improve their record to 6-1 with a win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night. FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds project the Bills as heavy 10.5-point home favorites.
