Best Remaining Free-Agent Destinations for Justin Houston

Justin Houston proved he's still got a lot left in the tank, racking up 19.0 sacks during a two-year stint with the Indianapolis Colts. But it doesn't look like the 32-year-old is going to re-sign with the team, making him one of the more intriguing pass-rushers available in free agency.

3. Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs could really use another edge rusher, and there aren't many better options than Houston, who played the first eight years of his career in Arrowhead. A return would make a ton of sense for both sides. Houston would give the team the threat it sorely needs opposite of Frank Clark, and playing in KC would give Houston a real shot at his first-ever Super Bowl ring. A reunion would be a win-win move for both parties.

2. Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills have been pretty aggressive in free agency, but they've mainly been re-signing their own players. Houston could be the big-name addition GM Brandon Beane needs to take this defense over the top. The Bills generated pressure at a bottom-10 rate last year (22.2%). Adding the 10-year vet could fix that issue in a hurry. It wouldn't be a shock to see the pass-rusher take a team-friendly deal to play in Buffalo, which is a huge plus for the cap-strapped Bills.

1. Cleveland Browns

With Olivier Vernon likely walking in free agency, the Cleveland Browns need to find another EDGE to lineup opposite of Myles Garrett. Houston certainly fits the bill. After some nice, under-the-radar additions in free agency, Cleveland's defense looks like it's a piece or two away from being legit. The former Colt could make a huge difference for a team that's shaping up to be a real contender in 2021.
