The Chicago Bears continue to re-tool their offensive line this offseason as one of the bigger priorities ahead of training camp. Of course, this naturally makes sense with the introduction of a new franchise quarterback in Justin Fields.

According to reports, Chicago will bringing in veteran offensive tackle Morgan Moses for a free agency visit. It's quite ironic as Moses could potentially fill a hole left by the Bears recent release of Charles Leno Jr. earlier this offseason. Leno ended up signing with the Washington Football Team, the team Moses has spent the entirety of his 7-year NFL career with.

Chicago Bears Rumors

The Bears took multiple offensive tackles in the 2021 NFL Draft including the No. 39 overall pick, Teven Jenkins of Oklahoma State. It looks like Jenkins may fight for a starting role on the left side, however, Chicago clearly still believes they have holes on the right side.

Germain Ifedi is the current favorite on the Bears roster to take over the right tackle position, but it looks like adding Moses would be an upgrade. Moses owns 97 starts throughout his career in Washington and was rated 80.6 overall by ProFootballFocus for his performance in 2020.

Moses also ranked top-15 in penalties (6) and sacks allowed (5) in 2020.
