Carlos Correa has been out since the end of May after suffering a fractured rib, but the Houston Astros didn't skip a beat without their All-Star shortstop. The 'Stros have the second-best record in the American League (by mere percentage points) behind the New York Yankees and also sit second in run differential in the AL, also behind the Bronx Bombers.

However, the two teams are tied when it comes to their odds to win the AL Pennant, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

At +160, the Astros and Yankees have separated themselves from the rest of the pack. The Minnesota Twins (+700), Cleveland Indians (+1100), Boston Red Sox (+1700), Oakland Athletics (+1900) and Tampa Bay Rays (+1900) are all vying for playoff spots, but are clear underdogs to win the AL Pennant.

With the July 31 MLB Trade Deadline just days away, these teams will all likely get some reinforcements, which could seemingly shift the odds a bit. But, the distance between the Astros and Yankees compared to everyone else clearly puts the two division leaders as the favorites to come out of the AL.

While it seems like a two-horse race as to who will represent the AL in the World Series, we've seen that anything can happen in October.
