There may be no position in sports at which teams crave continuity and consistency than the quarterback of a football team. That helps explain why the Arkansas Razorbacks have fallen to a disappointing 5-4 record on teh season after being ranked as high as No. 10 in September.

The rollercoaster continues on Saturday, as the Razorbacks have officially rolled out their third starting quarterback of the season.

QB1 K.J. Jefferson did get some throwing in at practice this week as he works toward returning from a shoulder injury, but he's not healthy enough to get back under center. Cade Fortin was starting QB number two when Jefferson missed a game in October, but had a terrible start to the game and was eventualyl benched for Hornsby.

Hornsby didn't turn that game against Mississippi State into a win, and his 8-of-17 passing with 2 interceptions wasn't exactly pretty, but he did contribute 114 yards on 8 rush attempts. If you're going to struggle to pass the ball you better be able to make plays on the ground, and so Hornsby makes this offense a lot more dangerous than Fortin does.

Of course, it's a tall task ahead of Hornsby playing against the No. 7 LSU Tigers, and as of writing FanDuel Sportsbook's college football odds have Hornsby and the Razorbacks as 5.5-point home underdogs.
