Are Field Goals the Best Decision?

On today’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show, former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee discusses some of the biggest storylines in the NFL this week. Analytics have shown to be against kicking field goals in the NFL because getting a touchdown always gets more points, which is of course better. However, Pat doesn’t like this analysis because these stats are not taking the entire situation into account and in many scenarios kicking the field goal is actually the better decision.
