The Philadelphia Eagles' passing game has been ravaged by injuries this season, and that trend continued with a late status update for top wide receiver Alshon Jeffery ahead of a pivotal Week 12 game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Jeffery sat out the team's Week 11 loss against the New England Patriots with an ankle injury, and had previously missed two other games earlier in the season. The often-injured wideout will be sorely needed, after Carson Wentz threw for just 214 yards and one touchdown against the Pats' stout secondary last week.

While Jeffery went from expected to suit up to "iffy" to officially inactive, and Nelson Agholor is also now expected to sit as he battles a knee injury. That means tight end Zach Ertz should act as the featured option on offense, going against a Seahawks' pass defense that allows 271.8 passing yards per game, the fourth-highest mark in the NFL.

The Seahawks have allowed the 14th-most fantasy points to the position, and have had trouble containing other big-bodied wideouts this year, serving up big lines to Julio Jones (10 catches for 152 yards) and Mike Evans (12 catches for 180 yards and a touchdown).
