Alshon Jeffery Injury Update Boosts Nelson Agholor and Dallas Goedert Fantasy Outlook for Week 11

Alshon Jeffery is struggling to stay healthy this season, and after missing almost two full games in Weeks 2 and 3, he also appears to be unlikely to suit up for the Philadelphia Eagles' matchup with the New England Patriots in Week 11.

He still hasn't been ruled out, but coming off a bye week and missing both Wednesday and Thursday's practices is a massive red flag for his availability in a receiving corps that is already missing DeSean Jackson.
The player to receive the biggest boost if Jeffery sits is likely to be Nelson Agholor. With Jeffery and Jackson sidelined in Weeks 2 and 3, Agholor saw double-digit targets twice, tallying 16 receptions, 157 yards and three TDs.
We could also see Philly roll with an increased number of two-tight end sets — something it has already been doing more of lately. Dallas Goedert has played at least 70 percent of the snaps in three of the last four games, averaging 5.5 targets per. His role expanding even further this week could make him a viable tight end streaming option, even in a tough matchup with the Patriots, who rank second in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA metric.
If Alshon Jeffery (ankle) can't go Sunday, PHL WRs vs. NE's league-best secondary will be:
— Adam Levitan (@adamlevitan) November 14, 2019
1. Nelson Agholor
2. Mack Hollins
3. Jordan Matthews
4. JJ Arcega-Whiteside
Only option is 2-TE base.
Jeffery looks like he's trending toward being a game-time decision, which means fantasy owners counting on him should be prepared with alternate plays. That being said, this is a nightmare matchup anyway, and unless you're in a bind, then ignoring the Eagles' passing game altogether could be the way to go for Week 11.
