The Philadelphia Eagles moved their training camp practice to a bigger stage on Sunday and went through drills at Lincoln Financial Field. Wide receiver AJ Brown was impressed by something other than the team's performance, though. He tweeted his reaction to the massive crowd in attendance.

Philadelphia Eagles Training Camp

It was reported that over 30,000 fans packed the lower bowl of seats to see their favorite team get ready for the regular season up close. It would've been even more if the top sections of the stadium were open. Brown noted that he loves the city of Philadelphia and has already had a lot of fun.

Brown made sure to put on a show for the fans, too. After receiving the loudest ovation during player introductions, the Pro Bowl talent cut through the defense on a red zone screen call. It was only two plays later that Brown hauled in a touchdown pass directly beside the pylon on the right sideline.

It was a glimpse into what Brown can bring to this Eagles' offense in 2022. The catch showed his ability to fight through contact and stay strong to the ground. Keep in mind the former Tennessee Titan 6.2 yards after contact per reception and has tallied 23 broken tackles in his career (43 games).

The night ended with a birthday celebration for Brown's best friend and starting quarterback Jalen Hurts. If he was excited about the crowd's passion on Sunday, he'll likely be more than happy when he walks out to a packed house for the Eagles' preseason opener against the New York Jets on Friday.

Philadelphia is a 3-point underdog in that matchup with +125 odds on the moneyline, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
