Aaron Rodgers had a relatively slow start to the 2019 season. He hadn't thrown for more than two touchdowns in any of his first six games, tallying just eight in that stretch.

He nearly doubled that mark in Week 7 alone though, throwing for five touchdowns and adding one more score on the ground against the Oakland Raiders.

Aaron Rodgers Fantasy Points

Rodgers completed 25-of-31 passing attempts for 429 yards and five touchdowns, adding six yards and one score on the ground to rack up 43.8 fantasy points. Pending the finish of Week 7's later games, that is the highest single-game fantasy score for any quarterback this season.

This wasn't exactly a tough matchup, as the Raiders entered the week allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing QBs. Still, it's a great sign for Rodgers in that he just put up one of the biggest fantasy performances of the year, even playing without top wideout Davante Adams.

Rodgers will find himself in a good position to keep rolling in Week 8 with a potential shootout against the Kansas City Chiefs next Sunday night. The Chiefs' defense has also given up above average fantasy production to the QB position so far this season.
