Aaron Rodgers didn't have his best statistical season in 2019. He wasn't asked to do as much as he has been in the past, and his numbers pretty much dipped across the board. But it's not like he was ineffective. Far from it, actually, as Rodgers tallied 26 touchdowns to 4 interceptions.
Unfortunately, it seems as if Rodgers' peers have overreacted to his dip in production, as Rodgers' ranking in the NFL's Top 100 list can only be described as disrespectful.
He has fallen eight spots from his ranking last season, and he is currently ranked behind Tom Brady, who Rodgers outperformed in virtually every statistical category last season.
Rodgers also didn't have much to work with outside of Davante Adams, as no other Green Bay wideout reached even 500 receiving yards last season. The fact that Rodgers was as productive as he was last year is impressive – and it's certainly not something he should be punished for.
